As always, we hope you will join us at our fabulous sale, December 3+4 at Micucci’s on India Street.
Preview II: Live From Rome, 2011
We’re in Rome across the Ponte Sisto in Trastevere with some of our latest finds. We attract a little crowd as we dress the Verdigris Signore in a few of our 2011 woolens, silks, and blends. He is a gentleman and wears them well , does not complain.
Above, on the Vespa, is our trademark Bollito Shawl in red. These soft treasures are available in both scarf- and shawl-size in beautiful jewel tones. The gently elasticized bubbles feel like a warm abbracio (hug).
We’re bringing back lots of printed and patterned items – check out the lion, left, in blended wool and silk from our vendor in Roma.

Signore Verdigris loves the openwork woolen shawls that everyone in Rome is wearing this fall. He loves the gray and deep turquoise tones best, although they do not flatter his skin tone.
Another new item this year is an extra-long scarf in softest cashmere. The Verdigris Signore loves that one, too. Pink is his color. Our vendors up north presented us with a collection of hand-blocked prints on soft silk-rayon blends, wow, we love them! Gray scarf, below, direct from a bench in Piazza Navaona.
Our fabulous knitwear appears as well, our latest treasure, “Fanfara,” which doubles as a shawl and a vest, our Julie Galli shawl, with cowl neck. Plus a lot more. Just cruise the array – join us December 3 and 4 – and stay tuned for more “new” designs – we shoot every day.
